From first pieces to the Christmas reveal.
01 / THE DREAM
Make Christmas feel extraordinary.
The brief was personal: turn a child’s love of trains into a bedroom they could step inside, explore and enjoy every day. Christmas set the deadline. In less than two months, the project moved from concept and detailed drawings through fabrication, delivery and installation. The train needed to capture the imagination while making room for the everyday essentials of a child’s bedroom.

02 / FROM DRAWINGS TO DELIVERY
Every stage brought it closer.
Arched windows, a sculpted engine and a deep blue-and-gold finish gave the train its character. Behind that exterior, the build brought together a bed, concealed storage, a fold-down desk and an interactive engine cab. The film follows the work from cut components and workshop assembly to the moment those pieces came together in the room.
02 / WORKSHOP ASSEMBLY
A train takes shape.
The team brought the pieces together, working through the structure and details before the finished train travelled to its new home.
03 / INSTALLATION
The room becomes the destination.
The finished sections were delivered and assembled in the bedroom, bringing the train’s exterior and everyday functions together.
04 / READY FOR CHRISTMAS
All aboard.
The completed bed, hidden compartments and engine cab were ready to explore—less than two months after the project began.
BUILT TO BE DISCOVERED
More behind every panel.
A second bed, tucked away.
A concealed trundle pulls out when another sleeping space is needed, then disappears back into the train.
A place for every toy.
Hidden toy storage makes practical use of the train’s lower compartments.
A desk that folds down.
A pull-down desk adds a place to draw, create and play without taking over the room.
The engine becomes an experience.
A train simulation setup in the cab lets the young engineer take the controls and adds another layer of play.
03 / THE CHRISTMAS DELIVERY
A dream they could climb into.
Delivered and installed in time for Christmas, the finished train transformed the room into a place for sleep, discovery and play. The reveal brought the whole project into focus: the drawings, the workshop hours and the installation all led to a child taking the controls of their own little world.
